Employment and Training Counseling -

Linda will provide the Career Counseling and Assessment for each resident. Linda Larson Schlitz has a Master's Degree in Counseling and is a Certified Independent Social Worker and Professional Counselor with 16 years experience working with a broad range of people with mental illness, chemical dependency, personality disorders and other types of disabilities. She will assist in the assessment and coordination of a comprehensive mental health, medical, and substance abuse evaluation. She will then help coordinate the development of an individualized treatment, training, employment, and transition plan for each resident. Barriers to employment will be identified and remediated through the Reintegration Assistance Program.
